Description

Originally composed in 1959, Guerlain’s Vétiver eau de toilette marked the olfactory debut of Jean-Paul Guerlain. Oscillating between freshness and warmth, this scent is inspired by the duality seen in nature's harmony and disorder. Like the first glimmers of sunshine after rainfall, sparkling citruses and piquant notes of pepper bring a sense of brightness to the rich, woodsy heart of vetiver, leather and myrrh.

Base Notes: Vetiver, Tobacco, Tonka Bean

Middle Notes: Nutmeg, Pepper

Top Notes: Orange, Bergamot, Lemon

This optimistic scent captures the invigorating rush of fresh air of an early morning.

Originally composed in 1959, Guerlain’s Vétiver eau de toilette marked the olfactory debut of Jean-Paul Guerlain. Like the first glimmers of sunshine after rainfall, sparkling citruses and piquant notes of pepper bring a sense of brightness to the rich, woodsy heart of vetiver, leather and myrrh.

V̩tiver draws its character from an innovative accord in perfumery, crafted on the basis of vetiver, tonka bean, nutmeg and tobacco.

Incidentally, Guerlain offered a dilution of V̩tiver, which was a bestselling fragrance in Mexico for quite a long time. Jean-Paul Guerlain was inspired by this scent to create V̩tiver.
