Elizabeth Arden opened her first cosmetics salon on New York's 5th Avenue at a time when women were very dynamic, but were not yet using makeup. This innovator and entrepreneur laid the foundation stone of the American cosmetics industry more than a century ago.

She was therefore one of the first to use scientific innovations in the world of cosmetics, while defending a holistic approach. She encouraged women to moisturize their skin, avoid direct sun exposure and do yoga. Elizabeth Arden cosmetics were therefore not only intended to hide the skin, but rather to make it thrive.

Elizabeth Arden's vision did not accept any compromise. Its products really helped women and many of them became cult products, such as the very popular Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, the legendary Elizabeth Arden perfume 5th Avenue or the equally famous Elizabeth Arden lipstick.

Elizabeth Arden products work every day to make women around the world more beautiful and confident. The story of Elizabeth Arden has also become a source of inspiration for many of them.
